Loving Interested Nazarenes Knowing Sharing

 

Reverend Manuel and Reverend Lydia Lima are currently our assigned LINKS missionaries. They live in Sao Paulo, Brazil where Manuel serves as national director of the sub-region Brazil and travels at least 15 days each month. Lydia assists with literature translation & discipling at the Center for Missionary Formation (CFM).

Papua New Guinea; World Mission Broadcast’s partners in Papua new Guinea were able to continue their radion ministry established in 2002


“Cry of women” aims to reach women who go through violence, abuse, and polygamy through dramatized skits


“Starting a Good Life”: aims to reach the youth of the nation to bring them hope and encouragement through the Word of God.


“Christ Loves All the Children”: aims to reach children from 7-13 years of age through dramatized Bible stories and real-life testimonies from children as they come to know Jesus as their Savior and friend.

 

Latin America: When the pandemic closed the doors of their new church and changed their Holy Week outreach strategy, Using the website and social media, Pastors Marcelo Fretes and Viviana Perez launched EsperanzaHoy.net (HopeToday) as a way of global discipleship not only to their young congregation but to the Spanish-speaking world. Their ministry is now global, with people being discipled everywhere.


A group of gypsies in Argentina who are illiterate listen to their devotionals as they are learning to read along to the graphic videos.


A medical doctor in Peru is sharing the devotionals with his patients suffering from COIVD-19.Evan, a barber, has come to Christ through the ministry and is not involved in the local church. His testimony of life change has impacted his entire community.

 

Nazarene radio, television, and Internet programs reach millions of people the world over with the gospel every day because of the generous support of Nazarene churches.  Now more than ever, World Mission Broadcast shares the hope and promise of a constant, never-changing, loving God. 

Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center

Cactus Nazarene Ministry Center is a Christ-centered ministry created to support and empower all people who seek our services.  We are committed to helping each person without doing for them what they can do for themselves. All of our programs focus on addressing the most basic needs of the community of Cactus, TX. The primary focus of all programs, whether immigration, children programming or addressing medical needs is to focus on physical, mental, social, and spiritual transformation. 

 

BLAST is our wonderful after school and summer program that partners with Cactus Elementary to offer academic assistance, have a time of reading, crafts, story time and snack.

 

The Well Health Center: Dr. Stephanie Diehlmann a family doctor who practiced medicine across the US and on the mission field holistically cares for patients; physical, body, mind and spirit.

 

Community engagement is a big priority at CNMC. We partner with JBS and Snack Pack 4 Kids to give away meat and produce and we partner with local churches to do “Bundle Up Cactus”. We are always looking for opportunities to engage with our community and serve in the best way we can.

Cactus African Church of the Nazarene meets every Sunday evening.  Originally the services were led completely in Dinka, but now, as many different dialects are represented in the church, Pastor Kor Chakud brings the word in English.

 

Internships are available for university interns who are studying in Social Work, Intercultural studies, ministry, missions, ESL, etc are encouraged to consider spending a summer or a semester working in their field of study within the Cactus community.   Dr. Denise Anderson, is a licensed social worker with 30 years of experience in the field.  Both Rev. Phil and Dr. Denise have 12 years of missions’ experience as well.  Dr. Stephanie Diehlmann is a family doctor who practiced medicine across the US and on the mission field.  For more information about internships or to apply, please contact Phil Anderson at phil@cactusministries.org

 

Cactus Ministries offers ESL and Citizenship classes as well as Immigrations assistance. Recognized by the Department of Justice and Dr. Denise Anderson is an Accredited Representative to offer legal immigration services.  If you need help, we are able to offer legal immigration consultations and assistance.
